Typography

INDESIGN SETTING
When creating your document, make sure you are in Print mode. Put 5 mm in Bleed (More Options Menu > Bleed).
When your document is finished, export it (File menu > Export) in Adobe PDF format (printing) by checking the box for Cuts (Cues and bleeds > Cuts)
PHOTOSHOP ADJUSTMENT
When creating your file, add 1cm (to get 5mm on each edge) to the final size of your document.
Then create markers (View menu > New marker) and enter the horizontal and vertical measurements in millimetres (mm).
The markers will allow you to see a preview of your document as it will look when finished. Be careful to respect a safety margin by not putting any important elements within 5 mm of the markers. To finish, save your document (File>Save as) in Adobe PDF format without changing any of the settings.
ILLUSTRATOR SETTING
Create your document in the format and add 5 mm of bleed (More Options menu > Bleed)
When your document is finished, export it (menu File > Export) in Adobe PDF format (printing) by checking the box for Cuts ( Cues and Bleeds > Cuts)
Digital printing is ideal for :

Offset printing is ideal:

- If your deadline allows you to wait several days
Note: Offset printing is available from 50 copies
Laminating encapsulates your poster between two thin sheets of plastic film to protect it and give it a pronounced qualitative appearance.
It is possible to choose from different options:
ASPECT
Matte - the most elegant
Glossy - the most impactful
EDGES
Welded edges: The most resistant. The laminating sheets protrude from the poster and are welded together, making the poster waterproof even on the edge.
Sharp edges: The laminating sheets stop at the same point as the poster. It is protected from water but not on the edge.
Laminating is a technique that allows a poster to be glued to a rigid support. The final result is very qualitative.

The different papers available for your printing
So that every professional can personalise and embellish his or her poster, we offer you a wide choice of papers on which your visuals will be printed. Here are the weights that we suggest you select when ordering:
- 135g paper: economical and thin, this paper is particularly flexible and is therefore ideal for internal use, although it should be framed to be more resistant and durable.
- 170g paper: slightly thicker than 135g paper, this paper offers excellent value for money and is more durable than the previous one, although it is preferable to frame it.
- 240g paper: semi-rigid, this is the ideal paper for posters to be hung as is, for example with adhesive fixings or pins, so it is more suitable for temporary displays.
- 300g paper: more rigid than 240g paper, this is the highest quality paper available in our online shop. Very high quality, it allows the A1 poster to be hung alone without the risk of it being folded or corroded.

This method, commonly used in the printing industry, consists of applying an extremely thin plastic film to a substrate toenhance its appearance while protecting it. Here you can choose between matt, glossy or soft-touch lamination .
To protect your A1 poster and ensure that it can be displayed outdoors without the risk of deterioration due to UV or humidity, you can also opt for the lamination option. This is a practical and cost-effective way of wrapping the poster between two sheets of plastic in two different ways:
- With sharp edges: the lamination stops at the edges of the poster for a clean and more aesthetic result but with less protection for the poster,
- With welded edges: the plastic sheet is wider than the poster to protect it completely from moisture, although this is less aesthetic.
Do you want to highlight a specific element and add dimension to your A1 poster? Then standard or 3D selective varnishing is definitely the way to go. This option, which consists of adding highlighting or relief to a particular element of the poster, allows you to emphasise what you want: text, image or even logo.
Finally, we offer you to make your poster more rigid and durable, and to give it more relief and impact thanks to the laminating option, which consists of gluing your A1 poster to a foam, PVC or Alu Dibond support for example. A solution that makes it resistant and solid and therefore allows it to be hung without a frame.
