To be hung as it is in a shop window or placed on a wall in a frame, the A2 poster is a highly visible medium that is easily noticed from several metres away. Easily customisable, it can convey all sorts of messages depending on the elements you choose to display on it.

Options to enhance your poster

Thanks to our large fleet of high-performance machines, specially designed for printing this type of material, we are able to offer you customisation options such as

• Laminating: This technique, which is widely used in the printing industry, consists of covering your A2 poster with a thin plastic layer to make it more resistant while improving its appearance. This option is available in glossy, matt or soft-touch (peach skin effect) versions.

Would you like to make your A2 poster more resistant or rigid? No problem, we have two other options for you: lamination and laminating.

• With the lamination option, we will encapsulate your A2 poster between two plastic sheets to protect it from dust and moisture. In this case, you have two options: choose the sharp-edged version, where the edges stop at the edge of the poster, or the welded-edge version, where the lamination protrudes from the poster and thus protects it more, even if the result is less aesthetic.
• Laminating is an option that consists of stiffening the support by gluing it to a thin sheet of PVC, aluminium dibond or foam. This solution prevents the poster from folding or corroding, and therefore allows you to hang it directly on the wall without a frame. Another advantage of laminating is that it adds size to the poster, making it even more visible.

The different choices of paper available to you

Flexible and economical version to be framed or semi-rigid version to be put up as it is: we offer you to choose the type of A2 poster that corresponds exactly to your needs and constraints by providing you with 4 types of paper for your poster.

• 135g paper: thin and flexible, this is the most economical paper in the range. However, it does get damaged quite quickly, so it is best to frame it or use laminating if you want it to last.
• 170g paper: slightly thicker than the previous one, it represents an excellent compromise between the more economical 135g and other thicker papers. It is perfect for framing and laminating.
• 240g paper: semi-rigid, this paper allows you to hang your poster on its own against a wall or in a window with adhesive or tacks without it folding over or tearing.
• 300g paper: This is the stiffest of all the poster papers available, and is also the most premium. Ideal for posters that last over time, it is robust and can obviously be hung on its own.

Our advice: choosing a thicker paper is ideal as it offers a better hold and allows you to hang your A2 poster on its own, however it does not protect against moisture, UV or dust. So consider thelamination option if you want your poster to last longer or use it in an area prone to moisture.
