Find out about the different paper weights and finishes available for unit printing

When ordering single posters, you can choose several papers with different weights. The higher the weight, the thicker the paper. Here are the different options available to you:

  • A weight of 135g or 170g which will allow you to obtain your unit print at a more economical price and to frame it easily afterwards.
  • A 240g or 300g weight is ideal for hanging your poster directly on the wall, as a heavier weight gives a more rigid result and therefore a more qualitative result. The 300g provides an even higher quality result, ideal for decorating places open to the public.

Whatever the weight, you can choose a matte paperpaper, more sober and sophisticated, or for glossy paperwhich is similar to photo paper.

As for laminationWe offer three options for maximum customisation of your single poster printing:

  • Matte Suitable for elegant documents and important events, it gives a chic and modern look.
  • Glossy ideal for coloured documents with photos, it allows a better colour rendering and a bright look
  • Soft touch or "peach skin creates an original matt and velvety finish, ideal for surprising your target.

Laminating your print

Whether displayed indoors or outdoors, your poster should be resistant to draughts, temperature changes and humidity. To make it more resistant and therefore last longer, you can opt for lamination when ordering individual posters.

Made with professional machineslamination consists of encapsulating your poster between two sheets of plastic film to make it more resistant. Available in two finishes, you can choose the type of lamination that suits you when you order individual posters:

  • Matt lamination with a satin finish that adds a chic and elegant dimension to your poster
  • Glossy lamination which brings brightness and contrast.

Finally, you can choose between two forms of lamination for the edges of your poster: the welded edges and sharp edges.

Edge-to-edge lamination means that the protective plastic film will stop exactly at the edge of your poster without protruding. This protects the front and back of the poster, but the edge is exposed to dust and moisture.

Seamless lamination means that the plastic film applied to the poster will be slightly larger than the poster itself. Extending the edges is a little less aesthetic, but it provides much better but it provides much better protection for the document.

The different uses of posters

Used by private individuals but also by professionals in the retail, event and other sectors, poster printing is useful in many situations:

  • During an advertising campaignTo highlight a product or a promotion in your point of sale for example.
  • To share informationTo share information, whether about an event or a particular topic. Without mentioning a massive distribution, you may simply want to display the single poster behind your cash register or in your reception area.
  • To decorate as a decorative objectTo embellish a professional space like an office or to embellish your living room.
  • As an educational aidTo summarise a lesson and leave the information available to learners in your classroom.

Easy to display with adhesive paste, tape or pins, single posters can also be enhanced with a frame.
