When should a plate of this type be used?

Plexiglas is a particularly modern and sophisticated medium because it is similar to a glass plate, but it is more affordable and less fragile, as it can be installed outdoors without fear of damage, UV rays or the elements.

For this reason, it is often used to display the name or contact details of professionals who have set up their own practice: as a variant of the classic professional plaque, it allows them to show their clients where they are and to communicate their opening hours in a more professional manner than with a simple sheet of paper taped to the door.

Indoors, the Plexiglas sign can be found in fairly prestigious places such as museums or exhibition halls in order to convey information to the public, but also in companies or buildings, in particular to display the plan of the building and help visitors find their way around more easily.

Also available in very large format, Plexiglas sheets can also be used to create a more durable poster than a paper model, such as a sign: their resistance, lightness and low price make them a preferred medium in many fields.

For this reason, our Plexiglas sheets are cast, which makes them more resistant to cutting and breakage, while preventing the material from flaking.

In addition, all our sheets are treated against UV rays with a colourless product that does not alter the final appearance of your substrate and allows it to retain its sharpness while making it even more resistant, thus increasing its life span.

Finally, we print on all Plexiglas sheets using the " vitrophanie" method, which means that the printing is done on the back of the sheet with a mirror effect. This method protects your material from scratches, so that it remains perfectly readable for many years.

Sizes and thicknesses available for your Plexiglas sheet

We offer five different sizes of plexiglass sheets to help you with your projects:

• A4 format: 29.7 x 21 cm
• A3 size: 42 x 29.7 cm
• Format A2: 59.4 x 42 cm
• A1 size: 84.1 x 59.4
• A0 format: 118.9 x 84.1 cm

These formats, ranging from the classic A4 format to the very large A0 format, offer you the possibility of creating all the supports you want: sign, advertising panel, decoration, professional plate, signage element, etc. If you wish, you can also choose between a rectangle, a square or a customised shape in line with your activity such as a pair of glasses, scissors or a tooth.

When ordering Plexiglas sheets, you can also choose between three different thicknesses: 3mm, 5mm or 10mm. Although all these sheets are strong and solid, we recommend that you opt for a thicker model if you wish to order a large format sheet or if you intend to place it outdoors, as it will be more rigid and will better withstand changes in the weather.

Customisation options to embellish your plaque

Like other communication media such as flyers or business cards, your plexiglass plate is the ambassador of your company, so it has a direct impact on your reputation and image.

In order for you to make a good impression and convey a professional message, we have provided you with several finishes that you may or may not apply to your plaque when ordering.

Among these options, you can find the white support. This option consists of applying a more or less opaque white layer to the back of your Plexiglas sheet in order to make the colours more vivid or to play on relief and transparency effects.

To ensure that you can easily hang your plaque without risking damage, we also offer you a choice of several types of fasteners that will be included with your order. You can choose between adhesive fasteners or spacers, of which there are 4 or 8, depending on the size of your plaque.

Finally, you can personalise your plaque by choosing to leave the corners straight or opt for rounded edges.

Good to know: printing on a Plexiglas sheet is always done in four-colour process. This means that the whole of your sheet will be slightly transparent, while your background will show through, as well as any light and shadow effects you wish to add.
